What are Education Scholarship Accounts (ESAs)?
Education Scholarship Accounts (ESAs), also known as Empowerment Scholarship Accounts or Education Savings Accounts, offer an opportunity for parents seeking alternatives to traditional public or charter schooling.
ESAs are government-funded programs available in select U.S. states, designed to provide families with financial support for their children's education.
Once approved for an ESA, families receive government funding that can be used to cover a wide range of educational expenses. These funds are flexible and can be applied to virtual learning, homeschooling, private school tuition, tutoring services, community college, higher education, and even additional educational resources or materials.
